Why is the first project related to Nasko Sirakov?

The first NFT collection "Legends: Nasko Sirakov" was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the majority owner of PFC Levski and legendary striker of the team Nasko Sirakov. His name is already written in golden letters in the club’s history - at the age of 13 he joined Levski’s academy and soon became dominant on the home stage with the Blues. He won third place in the fight for the "Golden Boot" in 1986/87 season. The "Bronze Boot" he won was donated to the newly opened Levski Museum in 2019! He is part of the greatest Levski line ups, cementing himself in the blue pantheon of greatness after scoring 4 goals against their greatest rival CSKA in the historic 7: 1 victory.

Sirakov is the team's top scorer with 209 goals and a five-time champion of Bulgaria. His success as a footballer is only part of his legendary status at “Gerena”. He is a well-known football magician who brings everything on the field - strength, finesse, class and intellect. His leadership qualities are indisputable and it is no coincidence that he is one of the most successful directors in the club’s history.

As a sporting director he has 5 titles, 5 cups, 2 super cups, a quarter-final in the UEFA Cup tournament in the 2005/06 season and participation in the group stage of the Champions League the following year. It was his successes on a European scale and the implementation of a modern model of work in the club that cemented him as a pillar of Levski’s ideals.

That is why he is the charismatic figure chosen to lead Levski in one of its most difficult moments. Winning Bulgarian Cup this year against the eternal rival CSKA is another success, and the renewed energy and fan enthusiasm are a new invaluable contribution to the team’s history. For all those reasons, the preservation of significant moments in Nasko Sirakov’s career and the creation of this collection entirely dedicated to him was a significant gesture to an eternal legend!
